Northfield Elementary PTA has several sponsorship levels that allow businesses to invest in our school’s educational programs and activities that enrich the lives & education of our students. Our PTA directly supports community-building events, educational support in the classroom, student enrichment opportunities, staff support, hospitality, and extracurricular events. 

Welcome to the new school year! As you prepare to get back into the groove of school, please take a moment to join the PTA!

We would love your feedback on the 2023/24 PTA School Year. Your input is invaluable for decision making heading into next year! Those that fill out this survey will be entered into a drawing for a Starbuck's gift cards. We will pull a winner each week (Week of 4/29, week of 5/6 and 5/13). We will present results at the 5/15 GENERAL MEMBERSHIP meeting - the last one of the year! Join us!

We're ending the year with Fitness Friday: Dance Party Edition!! On May 10, join us on the blacktop during your grade's recess for a Dance Party with Rudy! Volunteers needed to help keep the dance party movin' and groovin'. Sign up here!

Northfield PTA has partnered with SchoolKidz to provide parents a convenient and easy way to order their student’s school supplies for the upcoming school year delivered in July. Order by 5/24/2024. Go to www.ShopTTkits.com and enter 11761

Join us on Thursday, May 16 from 7:00pm to 8:30pm for a Marvel and Disney Pixar trivia night to benefit the Northfield orchestra and band departments to make much needed repairs to school instruments. Teams of one adult and up to five students will compete for prizes. Concessions will be available for purchase. Doors open at 6:45pm. Registration is capped at 200 people.

Look what the amazing NES staff made us do! It's the perfect week to dress up like hipsters and celebrate what gives Northfield the best reputation. Help us make Staff Appreciation Week the VIP experience we are aiming for by volunteering, donating an item, or giving a monetary donation via Venmo (@Youle-VanVoorhees). In the ongoing spirt of belonging and inclusion at NES, students helped create the newest display on our cafeteria bulletin board by writing their names on the B-E-L-O-N-G letters. This is a constant reminder - along with all the messages reinforced by teachers and staff at NES- that NES is a welcoming place where everyone belongs. Ask your child if they've seen the new bulletin board, and be sure to stop by to check it out next time you visit.

Every year, the PTA forms a Nominating Committee to fill our vacant Executive Board and Board of Directors positions with people from our Northfield Community. This is a great volunteer opportunity for people who see the skills of others and want to highlight them. Bonus, it can all be done from home!
