The 2019 Carnival Committee is excited to announce Northfield Strikes Back: The Return of Rudy's Carnival!

This year's carnival will be held on MAY THE 4TH from 10am to 2pm. We will be celebrating Star Wars Day Northfield style with a special appearance by the 501st Legion, a costume event, and other fun themed activities.

Volunteers make this day happen! Be on the lookout for a volunteer Sign-Up Genius in March. We are also looking for a Bake Sale coordinator, which involves collecting donated food items the day before the carnival and manning the bake sale booth during the event. If you are interested in a more involved role, we're looking for a Co-Chair to learn the ropes with minimal involvement this year and then take over the carnival committee next year.

Snowday is coming...the acappella music history program, that is. Snowday uses music theory, including demonstrating the use of harmonic parts and vocal drumming, to trace the history of acappella in an energizing performance that explores the extensive capabilities of the human voice and inspires creativity and musicality in students of all ages.

Snowday will be visiting Northfield on Thursday, December 20th. This event is brought to you by your PTA and a grant from the Maryland State Arts Council.
